Faye Gilchrist, 80, of Florence, passed away February 3, 2024, at North Alabama Medical Center. She was a housewife and a member of the Church of Christ.
Visitation will be Wednesday, February 7, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens. Officiating will be Gary Gooch.
She was preceded in death by her father, Avery Wright; mother, Millinea Wright; sister, Barbara Darby; and brother, Buddy Wright.
Mrs. Gilchrist is survived by her husband, Leon Gilchrist; son, Wade Gilchrist (Patty); daughter, Deanna Gilchrist; sisters, Lane Ransom, Brenda Lawson, and Debbie Gilchrist; grandchildren, Chelsey Parker (Chris) and Colby Gilchrist (Bailey); great-grandchild, Sunny Gilchrist.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Gilchrist, Steve Gilchrist, Jeff Gilchrist, Wesley Threet, Rodney Allman, and Adrian Cojocaru.
