Faye Dell Milford Harris of Adamsville, TN was born July 9, 1927 in McNairy County, the daughter of the late John Harrisson and Mary Katherine (Katie) Brown Milford. She was united in marriage to Tom Harris on December 23, 1950. Mr. Harris preceded her in death on November 6, 1991.
Mrs. Harris was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church and loved her church family very much. She worked in various garment factories prior to retiring and was a member of the FCE club in Leapwood for many years. Faye Dell enjoyed cooking, gardening, quilting, and loved watching her hummingbirds. She was known for her famous cakes. She was a very loving and caring person, enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and most of all she lived her life for the Lord. Mrs. Harris departed this life on September 29, 2018 at Adamsville Healthcare in Adamsville at the age of 91 Years, 2 Months, 20 Days.
Faye Dell is survived by her only child, John Thomas Harris and wife Melissa of Leapwood; two step grandchildren, Cody Godwin of Leapwood and Derick Gibbs and wife Julie of Adamsville; close family, David and Lyndia Milford of Selmer, Danny Milford of Nashville, Larry and Brenda Milford Melton of Jackson, TN along with a host of extended family and special friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Harris was preceded in death by special family Floyd and Maynell Milford and Dale Milford.
