Mr. Fay Leroy Sibley, age 85, of Scottsboro, Alabama passed away on Friday, January 16, 2026.
He leaves behind a profound legacy of love, embodied by his devoted family who will forever hold his memory dear.
He is survived by his cherished children and their spouses:
John Sibley, and his wife Rebecca, along with their beloved children,
Hawk, William, Marshall, and Brayden. Joseph Sibley, and his wife Lori,
blessed with children Jodi, Joseph, and Ethan. Jerry Sibley, and his wife Bonnie, parents to Samantha and Brian. James Sibley, and his wife Patty, whose children are Ronald and Andrew. Janet Lauderdale, and her husband Byron, with their children Byron, Michael, and Dannielle.
His enduring spirit lives on through his eighteen adored great-grandchildren:
Hawk Jr., Pheonix, Raven, Penelope, David, Raeleigh, Makayla, Marissa, Lilith, Leonidas, Kenzly, Amedeo, Alixandra, Shaylan, Byron III, and John Luke.
The family will receive friends at Scottsboro Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 21, 2026 with Rev. Dustin Henshaw officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
