Farrell McKinney, age 82 of Pulaski passed away December 27, 2020 in Pulaski, Tennessee. He was born May 21, 1938 near Frankewing, TN to the late Gaylon Grady and Pauline Hardy McKinney. He was also preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Jim Lester. Survivors include his sisters, Emogene Lester of Columbia and Gaylia McKinney of Pulaski, his brothers, Paul McKinney and Janice of Pisgah, and Worley McKinney of Beech Hill, his nieces and nephews, Margie McKinney-Dean of Pisgah, Gay Carole Wagner and David of Dyersburg, Carley Lester of Gray, and Martin McKinney and Kim of Clinton, 4 great nieces and nephews, the staff at PDI, and his caregivers and housemate, John, at the Patrick Street House. Farrell loved his family and the many friendships he had made over the years and was a member and sang in the choir at the First Presbyterian Church He regularly frequented the Giles County Impact Center, the Senior Citizen Center, and the Library. He loved music and had a huge C.D. collection which he enjoyed listening to each day. He especially like songs from the 50’s and 60’s and could quote the lyrics from most of them word for word. He liked to watch his Judge Shows and loved the Tennessee Volunteers and the Tennessee Titans. Known all over town for his warm smile and friendly disposition, he will be sorely missed by all his family and friends.
