Fannie Jo Nix, 80, of Iuka, Mississippi, died Friday, April 25, 2014, at her residence. She loved her animals, and enjoyed taking care of her flowers and plants. Visitation is scheduled for 5 until 9 PM on Saturday, April 26 at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 1 PM on Sunday, April 27, 2014, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Jackie Pittman. Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Survivors include 1 daughter – Heather Blakney of Iuka; 1 brother – Cecil Nix (Ruthene) of Iuka; 2 grandchildren – Morgan and Maddison Blakney; and 2 nephews – Joey and Jamie Nix; and 1 niece – Judy Stanley. She was preceded in death her parents, Fred and Annie Nix; and her nephew, Donnie Nix.
