Fannie Evelyn Roden, age 90 of Tuscumbia, died Sunday, May 21, 2017. Visitation will be Wednesday, 12-2 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. Her funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Jerry Hester and Wayne Fleming officiating. Burial will be in New Bethel Cemetery.
Mrs. Roden was preceded in death by her husband’s Odie Tubbs and Claude Roden, brothers, Homer, Howard, Curtis and Grover Brooks, sister, Bertha Mae Mitchell.
Survivors include her sons, James Tubbs (Deborah), Carl Tubbs (Sarah), brothers, Lloyd Brooks (Doris), David Brooks (Irene), sister, Melvina Willis, grandson, Anthony Tubbs, great-grandchildren, Tyler and Carly Tubbs.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Honorary pallbearer is Tommy Brooks.
