TUSCUMBIA– Families are invited to enjoy some free fall fun at the Tennessee Valley Art Association’s Fall Festival on Saturday, Oct. 8, from 5 to 8 p.m. The festival will take place in front of the Tennessee Valley Museum of Art, on the Tuscumbia Commons.
The TVAA Fall Festival will feature games and crafts, as well as an outdoor movie. The crafts will be fun fall-themed art projects for children and adults alike. Participants should bring a blanket or lawn chairs for the movie.
Inside the museum, families can enjoy a “Hall of Pumpkins” art exhibition. Admission to the museum will be free during the event. In addition to these free events, there will be concessions, including dipped apples, available for purchase.
Christi Britten, executive director of the Tennessee Valley Art Association, says her staff is excited to invite the community to the museum for a fun-filled evening.
“We can’t wait for our Fall Festival and all the colorful art projects that help us welcome the new season,” says Britten. “Our Hall of Pumpkins is inspired by famous artists, and our outdoor movie is the perfect setting for a creative snack. Our take-home crafts will also make perfect seasonal decor!”
