Falkville Man Dies In Single-Vehicle Accident

CULLMAN COUNTY-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a single-vehicle accident on January 20 that has taken the life of one person:

“A single-vehicle crash at approximately 7:28 p.m. Friday, January 20, has claimed the life of a Falkville man.

James W. Floyd, 29, was fatally injured when the 1993 Ford F-250 he was driving left the roadway, struck a ditch then overturned. Floyd was not using a seat belt at the time of the crash and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The crash occurred on Cullman County 1212, approximately three miles north of West Point, in Cullman County.

Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
