Fairie Marie Abernathy, age 80 of Hendersonville, TN formerly of Greenbrier passed away Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at American House Senior Living in Hendersonville. The family will receive friends 1:30pm to 2:30pm on Saturday, February 5th at Austin & Bell Funeral Home Greenbrier. Burial will follow in Springfield Memorial Gardens.
She was born in Greenbrier, TN on September 18, 1941 to the late Joe Henry and Lorene Mayo Abernathy. She attended the Methodist Church and was an Executive Secretary in the Insurance Industry. She enjoyed Antiquing, reading and gardening.
She is survived by her sister, Linda (Jerry) Grubbs of Hendersonville; niece, Amy Crowe and great-nephew, Evan Crowe.
