F. O’Neal Bowling, age 77 of Leighton, died Wednesday, November 30, 2016.
His family will receive friends Saturday, December 3, 2016, 12-2 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia with funeral service following in the funeral home chapel. Keith Prince and Melinda Mears will officiate and burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Tuscumbia.
Mr. Bowling was a native of Leighton and was a member of Shady Grove Methodist Church. He was retired from Reynolds Alloys after forty-two years, was an avid Alabama football and NFL fan, loved his dogs and was a great care provider for his wife Annie. He was preceded in death by his parents, Forrest H. and Lassie M. Bowling; son, James Forrest Bowling; brother, Gerald D. Bowling, and son-in-law, Greg Coan.
Survivors include his wife of fifty-four years, Annie Mae Bowling; son, Michael Bowling and wife Charlotte of Leighton; daughter, Carol A. Coan also of Leighton; grandchildren, Emily Counts (Pricie), Kimberly Taylor (Heath), Whitney Farris (Ross), Haley Aycock (Josh), Cody Bowling (Tasha), Destiny Seymour (Allen), Tanya George (Brian), and Louisa Bowling; greatgrandchildren, Little Pricie, Caroline, Rivers, Jackson, Ayden, Braxton, Jaylon, Gracie, Tallen, Blakelynn and Michael.
Pallbearers are Pricie Counts IV, Heath Taylor, Ross Farris, Josh Aycock, Allen Seymour and Brian George.
