Funeral for Ewatha Estella McGee, 76, will be today at 4 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Jackie Kay officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mrs. McGee, who died June 27, 2013, at home, was born August 4, 1936 in Galax, Virginia to Frank D. and Oden Gillespie. She was a member of Centrak Park Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters; and four brothers.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Jerry McGee; daughters, Karen Russell, Kim Harville, Kathy Hunt, Rhonda Weil (Eugene Smith); brothers, Wendall Gillespie, Delmer Gillespie; sisters, LouAnn Harris, Jennie Prator, Gloria Dillard (sister-in-law); 10 grandchildren, Chris Fox, wife Dana, Anna Vanacor, husband James, Amanda Pugh, Danni Whatley, husband Eric, Jamie Canter, Autumn Hunt, Eric Brooks, Adam Brooks, Casey Brooks, Brittney Harville; 15 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Chris Fox, James Vanacor, Eugene Smith, Jamie Canter, Brent Jordan, Eric Whatley, Len Fox, Chuck Porter.
