Everett Lee Sears, 75 of Arab, the New Harmony Community died Saturday Morning July 18, 2015 at his residence.
Mr. Sears was born September 1, 1939 in Corbin, Kentucky the son of Leslie and Cora Alsip Sears. He served with Honor and Courage in the United States Army. He and the former Ilene Gaddis were married 40 years; he was a poultry farmer and has called the Arab area his home for the past 45 years. He was a member of Union Grove Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife: Ilene Sears; three sons and daughters-in-law: Kenney and Benetta Nunnelley, Nathan and Cindy Nunnelley and Anthony and Tama Nunnelley; 7 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and preceded in death by a son: Lee Sears, his parents, 6 brothers and 5 sisters.
Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, July 20, 2015 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, Brother Cohen Copley and Brother Randy Blakely, officiating. Burial will be in Roswell Creek Cemetery in Blount County, Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.
Pallbearers will be family members and friends.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, July 19, 2015 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel.
