Everett Eugene “Big E” Almaroad, age 73, of Oakman, passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2017 at UAB Palliative Care.
The family will receive friends on Friday, March 3, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Friday, March 3, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel, with burial at New Hope Church of Christ Cemetery. Robert Tyree and Daniel Rogers will officiate.
Mr. Almaroad was preceded in death by his Father-Lee Roy Almaroad; Mother-Mary Lucille Almaroad; Brother-Henry Almaroad.
He is survived by his Fiance-Louise Harbison; Daughters-Kimberly Hester (Terry) and Leisha Thomas of Arley; Son-Kevin Almaroad (Barbara) of Jasper; Stepdaughters-Michelle Tubbs, Patricia Jones and Becky McGough (Barry); Stepsons-Jerry Douglas Harbison (Christine) and Kendale Harbison (Terra); Sister-Evelyn Borum of Marion, IL; Brother-Roy Almaroad (Katie) of Amarillo, TX; 16 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchild.
Pallbearers will Tyler Hester, Trey Whitlow, Brody Harbison, Kendale Harbison, Tyron Yeager and Doug Harbison.
