Everett "Eddie" MillsEverett “Eddie” Mills, 74, of Gaylesville, passed away Friday, March 1, 2024 at his home. He was born September 22, 1949 in Knox County, Kentucky to the Otis Mills and Nancy Bargo Mills. He worked at Integrated Fiber Solutions for more than 30 years in Rome, Georgia. Mr. Mills enjoyed working on cars and mowers and he loved drag racing, barbequing, Alabama football, and spending time with his grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Sunday at Wilson Funeral Home in Fort Payne with Bro. Tim Smith and Bro. A.B. Smallwood officiating. Burial will follow in Weis Lake Memory Garden. The family will receive friends Sunday from 12 noon until the 3 p.m. hour of service.

He is survived by his wife of 15 years Georgia Mills; mother Nancy Mills; children Scott Mills (Haley), Staci Hill (Tom), Jenifer Sunderman (Wallace), Hope Smallwood (A.B.), and Nettie Burnham (Jeremy); grandchildren Cody, Gabby, Graci, Mariana, Gregory, Alexus, Caiden, and Jacob; chosen grandchildren Devan, Kaci, Hannah, and Brayden; and great-grandchildren Alyssa, Raven, Branson, Isaiah, Aries, and William and special friend Susie Hawkins.

He was preceded in death by his father Otis Mills and infant sister Bonnie Mills.
