Everett Allison Sechrest, 74, a native of Charlotte, NC and a resident of Lauderdale County, passed away January 05, 2014 at his residence. He was a member of the Charter Property Casualty Underwriters, CPCU, Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonel, and Shoals Democratic Club. He was retired as an Underwriting Manager with AETNA Life and Casualty.
Visitation will be Thursday, January 9, 2014 from 1 – 2 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. A graveside service will begin at 2:30 p.m. in Pisgah Cemetery with the Rev. Ralph Mann officiating. Pallbearers will be Larry Irons, Jeff Richardson, Bud Hendon, and Bob Hendon.
Mr. Sechrest was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Carole Sechrest; father, Joe Sechrest, and mother, Ruby Sechrest.
He is survived by his wife, Georgia Sechrest; sons, Dean and Michael Sechrest; brother, Steve Sechrest; grandchildren, Brandon, Alison, Evan, and Alec Sechrest; special daughter-in-law, Angelia Sechrest.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Graeme Bolger, Kirkland Clinic, Dr. David T. Brown, and Dr. TA Pritchard, Florence Medical Associates, and Hospice of the Shoals.
