Evelyn Sheffield, age 83, of Cherokee passed away Sunday, December 23rd, 2018. The funeral service will be Wednesday, December 26th at 10 a.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Cherokee with James Atkinson officiating. Burial will follow in Barton Cemetery.
Evelyn was a native of Cherokee, Alabama, a retired seamstress, and a member of Barton Methodist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ellis and Connie Waldrep; brother, O’Neal Waldrep; sister, Helen Fuller; and grandson, B.J. Hubbard.
She is survived by her son, James Randy Sheffield; daughters, Evelyn Diane Felks and Helen Faye Sheffield (Vance); sister, Mary Fuller; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Friends and Family will serve as pallbearers.
The family wants to give a special thanks to Amedisys Hospice.
