Funeral service for Evelyn Segars, 90, will be Sunday, June 1, 2014 at 1:30 PM at Salem United Methodist Church with Rev. Charles Brown officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. The body wil lie in state for one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, May 31, 2014 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mrs. Segars died on Thursday, May 29, 2014 at her residence. She was born April 13, 1924, in Madison County to Charles F. Massey, Sr. and Willie Parsons Massey. Mrs. Segars was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her husband: Hubert L. Segars and her parents.
