Evelyn Ruth Manning, age 90, of Skyline, Alabama, passed away peacefully on April 24, 2024 at Rosewood Manor. Evelyn was born near Scottsboro, Alabama to Elmer and Pansy Cornelison.
Evelyn Manning was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother and is survived by her son Bobby (Dottie) Manning, grandsons Caleb (Katie) Manning and Joshua (Ashley) Manning, great-grandchildren Katelyn (Justin) Bullock, Kenzie Manning, Emma Manning, Christa Manning, and Blake Manning, and great-great-grandson, Jenison Bullock. She will be deeply missed by her sisters, Juanita (Alton) Sharp and Linda (Pete) Paradise.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Dewey Manning, her parents Elmer and Pansy Cornelison, her sister Gladys (Doug) Shelton, infant sister Ruby Cornelison, an unnamed infant brother.
Arrangements are entrusted to Scottsboro Funeral Home. Visitation at Scottsboro Funeral Home is scheduled for Thursday evening, April 25, 6:00 pm-8:00 pm. Funeral service is scheduled for Friday April 26, 11:00 am at Scottsboro Funeral Home with Pastor Mickey Skipper officiating. Burial service to follow at Skyline Cemetery. Pallbearers: grandsons Caleb and Joshua Manning, great-grandson Justin Bullock, and nephews, Steven Paradise, Rob Paradise, and Tim Sharp.
