Evelyn Rikard Pounders, age 78, of Madison, died Tuesday, May 28, 2013. Visitation will be held Saturday, 1-3 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home of Tuscumbia with her funeral service following in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Pounders was owner operator of Evelyn’s Stitch and Frames on Woodward Avenue for twenty six years. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Sheffield and was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Pounders.
She is survived by her son, Gary Pounders and wife Kelly of Madison; sisters, Gloria Sertic, Geraldine Logan, Carolyn Taylor, Lois Sparks, Barbara Ann Manisone, and three grandchildren; Christopher Pounders, Austin Pounders and Heather Pounders.
