Evelyn Patterson Wells, age 90, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully surrounded by those that she loved on March 25, 2013.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Otha and Viola Patterson; her husband, Dewey Wells; and granddaughter, Angela Humphrey.
She is survived by her daughters, Brenda Henshaw (Carlos), and Janice Humphrey (Doug); her grandchildren, Kelly Miller (Rick), and Danny Lee (Alisa); her great grandchildren, Tyler Hooper, Bryson Lee, Brooke Miller, and Salem Lee; and her loving grandbaby dogs, Sassy and Millie.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday March 28, 2013 at 1 pm in the chapel of Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville with Wayne Kimbrough and Kelly Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Valhalla Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on that day from 11 am until 1 pm at the funeral home.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the caregivers, Demanda Clemons, Sally Johnson, Janet Gaught, Judy Helton Williams, and Charlotte Williams. The family would also like to thank Gentiva Hospice for their dedication and effort to provide quality care over the past several months. They were a heartwarming blessing to the entire family. We thank God for the gift of her life and the blessing of time spent with her.
