Evelyn Naomi Perkins, 84 of Arab Alabama died Friday December 30, 2016 at her residence.
Mrs. Perkins was born September 20, 1932 in Marshall County to Arton Breedwell and Lucille Hornbuckle Breedwell. Her husband J.T. Perkins preceded her in death on August 13, 1998. She worked in production at Wrangler – Blue Bell in Arab for 30 years until her retirement. She enjoyed helping other people, spending time outdoors and loved her cats.
She was a member of Shoal Creek Baptist Church.
She is survived by a brother and sister-in-law Jody and Helen Breedwell; sisters and brother-in-law: Annie Mae Saint, Martha and Don Bonds and Linda Snider; a sister-in-law: Gail Breedwell and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents: Arton and Lucille Breedwell and her husband J.T. Perkins.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday January 3, 2017 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel with Brother: Randy L. Blakely, officiating. Burial will be in Shoal Creek Cemetery with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.
Pallbearers will be Chris McWhorter, Craig McWhorter, Hunter Anderton, James Anderton, Donald Saint and Joe Roberts.
Visitation will be 3:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Monday January 2, 2017 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel.
