Evelyn Mae Buettner of Cullman passed away June 29, 2018 at the age of 93. She was born in Birmingham February 5, 1925 to Roy J. and Etta Minyard Hood. She is preceded in death by her husband Max L. Buettner Sr. She was the owner of Buettner Jewelry and Antiques established in 1949 and a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church since 1949. Funeral services are Monday July 2, 2018 at 11 AM at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church with Rev. John Bussman officiating. Mrs. Buettner will lie in state at the church for one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Cullman City Cemetery. Survivors are: daughter Marie Evette Buettner, sons Max L. Jr. (Karen) Buettner, James Roy (Vickie) Buettner, Wayne (Loretta) Buettner, grandchildren Megan, Whitney, Sydney, Joseph, Aaron, James Jr., Angela Buettner, great grandchildren Isaac and Jacob Buettner. Visitation is Sunday from 6 PM until 8 PM at Moss Funeral Home.
