Funeral Services for Mrs. Evelyn Juanita Harris, age 74 of Bluff Springs, will be held on Monday, December 15, 2025 at Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Claude Bennett officiating. Burial will follow at New Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Harris passed away on Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at the Lineville Health and Rehab. She was born in Clay County, spend her early years in Talladega, but lived the majority of her life in the Bluff Springs area. After her time raising seven children, she worked for Tyson Foods as a line worker for some time. Mrs. Harris enjoyed going to yard sales and thrift stores, and she collected porcelain dolls.
Mrs. Harris is survived by her three daughters: Darlene Harris of Millerville, Mary Harris of Ashland, and Bertha Harris of Eclectic; four sons: Tracey Harris, Stevie Harris (Eva), both of Ashland, Hubert Harris of New Site, and Britta Harris of Ashland; 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; one sister, Patricia Finch (Gary) of Cragford; and two brothers: Sonny Rogers, and Jackie Rogers (Vivian), both of Ashland; plus a large extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Thurman and Beulah Mae Hamlin Rogers; her granddaughter, Sandrea Elaine Taylor; one grandson; and four sisters: Ruby Rogers, Dorothy Davis, Virgie Martin, and Elizabeth Mitchell.
Gary, Kina, Travis, Squirrel, Colton, Johnathan, JoJo, and Turbo will serve as pallbearers.
Her visitation will take place on Monday, December 15, 2025 at Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville beginning at 1:00 P.M. until service time at 2:00 P.M.
