Mrs. Evelyn Hardville was the third child born to Henry and Canara Claybrooks Fisher. She was a lifelong citizen of Crockett County, TN, having had a short stay in Atlanta, GA.
Evelyn accepted Christ at an early age and became a member of Poplar Forest Church until she married and began attending Hughes Grove Church. Later in life she became a member of Bucks Chapel Baptist Church and was a faithful member.
On September 5, 1946, Evelyn was united in Holy Matrimony to Mr. Jame T. Hardville. She was preceded in death by her husband, son, James Mason Hardville, parents, Henry and Canara Fisher, siblings, Sarah Fisher Woods, Amos D. Fisher, Velner Fisher Slaughter, Venus M. Fisher and Crisis A. Fisher.
Evelyn loved to cook, gardening, planting her beautiful flowers and keeping her yard well manicured. She was well known for her fried peach pies as well as other tasty dishes.
Omega-December 21, 2019, God called his angel to her heavenly home. She died peacefully in her home surrounded by her children.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories: nine children, Joyce Hardville Manley of Gadsden, TN, Merneda Hardville of Detroit, MI, Embely Hardville of Atlanta, GA, Larry A. Hardville of Clarksdale, MS, Lloyd H. Hardville, Calvin E. Hardville both of Maury City, TN, Althiar Hardville of Detroit, MI, Teresa Hardville of Dyersburg, TN , LaKeshia K. Hardville of Jackson, TN, a host of grandchildren, cousins, other relatives and friends, a very special friend, Minnie Pearl Jurnett.
