Funeral for Evelyn Genevieve Stewart, 80, of Trinity, will be Saturday, Aug. 27, 2016, at Parkway Funeral Home, at 10 a.m. with the Reverend Johnny Mayes and the Reverend Michael Mason officiating with burial in Caddo Cemetery. Visitation will be today, Aug. 26, 2016, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Stewart, who died Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2016, at her residence, was born Friday, Jan. 3, 1936, to Henry Hagemaker and Agnes Hagemaker. She was a past member of the Trinity Baptist Church, but in later years became a member of Mt. View Baptist Church . She enjoyed crocheting and flower gardening.
She was preceded in death by father, Henry Hagemaker; mother, Agnes Hagemaker; husband, Leldon Stewart; son, Roger Dale Stewart; brother, Ray Hagermaker; and, sister, Faye Terry Smith.
Survivors include three sons, Ray “Royce” Stewart, David Stewart, and Gurley Stewart; daughter, Shirley Norris; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and two great-grand-children.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
