Evelyn Davis Craig, age 94, passed away Monday, March 30, 2015 at Life Care Center in Columbia, Tennessee.
Evelyn was born March 31, 1920 in Ardmore, Alabama to the late James W. Davis and Eula Jane Heard. Evelyn married the love of her life Charlie O’Neal Craig and spent 69 wonderful years together creating a wonderfully large and love filled family. Evelyn was a very loving mother and grandmother, and she will be dearly missed by her friends and family.
Evelyn is survived by: her son: Glendon “Glen” Craig (Linda); grand daughters: Kimberly Carol Lockhart (Donnie) and Juanita Gaines (Louis); grandson: Paul Dennis; great grand daughters: McKenzie Lockhart and Katelynn Lockhart; great grandsons: Hunter Glen Lockhart, Brian Dennis, John Paul Dennis, Hunter Gaines, and AJ Gaines; and great great grand daughter: Alexandria Gaines.
The family will receive friends Thursday, April 2, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia, TN. Services will be held Friday, April 3, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. also at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia, TN. Burial will follow at Polk Memorial Gardens. Bro. Mike Williams will be officiating.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Honorary Pallbearers will be members of Macedonia Church of Christ in Mt. Pleasant.
