Funeral Service for Evelyn Chambers Banks, age 88, of Cullman, will be at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 29, 2020, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home with Wayne Turley officiating; interment in Etha Baptist Cemetery.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Banks passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2020, at Hanceville Nursing Home. She was born July 11, 1931, to Rev. Horace and Minnie Chambers.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thurman Banks; parents; son, Donnie Banks; daughter-in-law, Loretta Banks; daughter, Pamela Banks Holmes; and grandson, Christopher Banks.
Survivors include her daughter, Marcy Banks Jones; son, Victor (Tammy) Banks; son-in-law, James (Cara) Holmes; grandchildren, Tony Banks, Cari (Dirk) Smith, Brandon Holmes, Angie (Mike) Ruth, Daniel (Michelle) Boyd, and Katy (Kiah) Crider; sixteen great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and special friend, Charlotte (WT) Holmes.
Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 28, 2020, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home.
