Evelenia Phillips Sneed, age 89, of Ethridge, TN passed away Monday, February 17, 2014 at NHC Healthcare of Lawrenceburg in Lawrenceburg, TN. She was a native of Lauderdale County, AL, homemaker, seamstress, and a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Anderson, AL.
She was preceded in death by her parents Homer W. and Lela Burgess Phillips; her first husband, James Edward Sneed; and her second husband, Kelsey Waer.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 2:00 PM Thursday, February 20, 2014, with Ricky Cotton officiating. Interment will follow at Mitchell Cemetery in Anderson, AL. Family suggests memorials be made to The Gideons International.
