Eveldean W. Lemay, age 89 of Sheffield, passed away on Thursday, September 13, 2018. Her visitation will be Saturday, September 15, 2018 from 11 a.m. until noon at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will follow at noon in the funeral home chapel with Robert Shirley officiating.
Eveldean was a native of Colbert County and a member of the Southside Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Thomas Lemay; son, Jimmy Lemay; parents, George and Lorine Willis; brother, George Willis; and sister, Mae Allison.
She is survived by her son, Kenneth Lemay (Jeannie); daughters, Paula Reding (Jim) and Patty Wilson (Carl); brother, Buddy Willis (LaDelle); sister-in-law, Elaine Willis; 12 grandchildren, Richard Lemay, Kathy Newsom, Sarah Lemay, Mitzi Cummings, Amy Harrington, Amanda Newman, Russ Lemay, Wes Reding, Jessy Reding, Courtney Cordonis, Lori Bhatti and William Wilson; 21 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Wes Reding, Tyler Reding, Carl Wilson, William Wilson, Shajar Bhatti and Aiden Cordonis.
The family would like to give special thanks to her special friends and caregivers, Donna Smith and Debbie Carrouth, Amedisys Hospice, and Katie Looney.
