Funeral for Evan F. Tucker, 92, of Decatur, who passed away on Sunday, April 22, 2018, in Newland North Carolina, will be 2 p.m. Friday, April, 27, 2018 at Ridout’s Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Aaron Warnick officiating. Mr. Tucker’s visitation will be one hour before service. Burial will be at Burningtree Cemetery with military honors provided by the American Legion.
Mr. Tucker served in World War II, was a member of the Rising Sun Lodge #29, and a member of the Eastern Star. He was preceded in death by a daughter, BeverlyWarnick.
Survivors include wife, Reba G. Tucker; daughter, Carol Phillips and husband, Phil; son, Duane and wife, Lisa; son-in-law, Phil Warnick; four grandsons, MichaelWarnick and wife, Querida, Eric Stewart, Aaron Warnick and wife, Jennifer, and Brian Stewart; and eight great-grandchildren.
