HARTSELLE-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a single-vehicle accident near Hartselle, involving a motorcycle has taken the life of person:
“A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 7:18 p.m. Sunday, April 5, has claimed the life of an Eva man.
Dameion H. Shirley, 45, was critically injured when the 2024 Kawasaki Ninja ZX6R motorcycle that he was operating, left the roadway and struck a culvert. After the initial impact, Shirley was thrown from the motorcycle.
Shirley was transported to Hartselle Health Park Hospital in Hartselle for treatment where he later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.
The crash occurred on Bean Road near New Center Road, approximately five miles southwest of Hartselle, in Morgan County.
Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
