Eva Lee Perkins McMahanEva Lee Perkins McMahan, 102, retired hair stylist and resident of Maury County, died Wednesday October 23, 2019 at Life Care Center of Columbia.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 4:00 at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Porter King officiating. The family will visit with friends on Saturday from 2:00 P.M. – 4:00 P.M. at the funeral home.  A private family graveside service will be held at Memphis Memorial Park.

Born August 24, 1917 in Jonesboro Arkansas, she was the daughter of the late Edward Cecil Perkins and the late Grace McDaniel. She was a graduate of Valley View High School and on October 27, 1938 she married Thomas Adolphus McMahan. She was a member of the White Station Church of Christ in Memphis where she taught children’s Sunday School classes. After her husband’s passing on February 14, 2009, she made her home in Columbia, Tennessee and became a member of The West 7th Street Church of Christ.

She is survived by her daughters, Linda (David) Kirk of Columbia, TN, Shelia (Terry) Cullom of Nashville, TN: sister, Glenda Ruth (Jim) Craft of Jonesboro, AR; grandchildren, Jimmy (Noelle) Kirk of Spring Hill, TN, Rebecca (Paul) Buchanan of Spring Hill, TN, Laurie (Joey) Pewitt of Columbia, TN, Heather (Mike) Fox of Olive Branch, MS, Lance Cullom of Nashville, TN, Matthew Cullom of Nashville, TN, Amy ( Bobby) Harris of Charlotte, NC, Ronnie (Casey) Williams of Grant, AL, Emily (Michael) Johnson of Huntsville, AL; eleven great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; seven nieces; and nine nephews.

Active pallbearers will be Jimmy Kirk, Matthew Cullom, Ronnie Williams, Joey Pewitt, Bobby Harris, and Michael Johnson.
