Eural Edward Claxton, 88 of Toney, passed away on Monday, August 16th, 2021 at his residence. Mr. Claxton was born on May 27th, 1933 to Erdie Claxton and Ila Mae (Matthews) Claxton Burns.
Mr. Claxton is survived by his wife, Clara McMunn Stone Claxton; children Donnie Claxton (Diane) of Harvest, Jeff Claxton (Phyllis) of Athens, Jeanne Lindsay (Kip) of Athens, and Carolyn Keith (Michael) of Bristow, VA; stepdaughter Sharon Sandlin (Tim); brother Tommy Claxton; sister Jeanette Holt; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service for Mr. Claxton will be Wednesday, August 18th, 2021, at 10:00am at Roselawn Cemetery with Bill Irby officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donation be made to Hospice of North Alabama.
