euniceEunice Mae Adams “Granny” Scott, age 79, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2016. Visitation will be today, 6-8 p.m. at Spry-Williams Funeral Home, Florence. The service is Sunday, Oct. 16, 2 p.m., at Jones Chapel Freewill Baptist Church with Brother Wayne Gean officiating. She will lie in state at the church from 1-2 p.m. Burial will be at Duncan Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Simmons, Ricky Lard, Owen Summerhill, Jimmy Wallace, James McCreless, and Darron Michael. Grandsons and great-grandsons will serve as honorary pallbearers.

Mrs. Scott was a loving and devoted Christian wife, mother, and Granny to her own and many others. She was a member of Oakland Church of Christ.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Theo Harris Scott; daughter, Shelia Kaye Scott; and mother, Ruth Adams.

Survivors include son, George Scott; daughters, Janice Scott Bolden, Julia Scott Floyd, and Wanda Scott Michael (Darron), all of Florence; brother, Huston Clemons; grandchildren, Amanda, Kayla, Kristi, Nicki, Craig, Courtney, Madison, Lawrence, LaShae, and Amber; and great-grandchildren, Kasey, Zach, Colby, Braden, Drew, Jaycee, Emma Grace, Syanna, Sophia, Natty, Colton, Carter, and Jate.
