Mrs. Eunice Evelyn Kimbrell Mrs. Eunice Evelyn Kimbrell, age 82, of the Ruth Community of Arab, passed away on the morning of Monday, December 14, 2020 at Marshall Medical Center North.
Mrs. Kimbrell was born on November 14, 1938 in Walker County, Alabama to the late O.B. Norris and Rhoda Mae Keeton Norris. In her past time she enjoyed watching her television shows, particularly Wheel of Fortune. She took pleasure in spending time with her friends and family, even if it was only to accompany them for a short drive. Her grandchildren were dear to heart and she loved them deeply. Mrs. Kimbrell was a member of Harmony Primitive Baptist Church and was passionate about reading her Bible.
Mrs. Kimbrell leaves behind to celebrate and reminisce her life; son, Tim Kimbrell (Carrie); daughters, Libby Mays (Eddie) & Sharon Kimbrell Sims (Truman Campbell); brother, Joe Norris (Barbara); sister, Mary Lou Hyatt; 8 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren.
In addition to her beloved parents, Mrs. Kimbrell is preceded in death by her late husband; Dick Kimbrell; son, James Kimbrell; brother, John Norris; sister, Dorothy “Dot” Hyatt.
A visitation will take place at the Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel on Thursday – December 17, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
Funeral service will take place at the Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel on Thursday – December 17, 2020 starting at 11:00 a.m. with Br. Mitchell Phillips, officiating.
Interment will follow service immediately at the Mt. Oak-Ruth Cemetery.
Pallbearers escorting Mrs. Kimbrell to her final resting place will be; Luke Broadus, Xavier Kimbrell, Ricky Phillips, Toy Carter, Gary Craft & Seth Henegar.
