Eulojio "Papa -Yo-Yo" Melecio Eulojio “Papa Yo-Yo” Melecio, age 92, of Russellville, passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2023, at his residence.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 50 years, Margarita Ramirez; parents, Francisco Melecio and Emilia Ramirez; daughter, Vitalina Rodriguez; and brother, Avel Melecio Ramirez.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his children, Frank Melecio (Kim), Juan Melecio, Epimenio Melecio (Inez), Marilu Almaraz (Luis), Hidahlia Melecio-Mandujano (Martin), Saul Rodriguez; grandchildren, Miguel Rivas, Marcos Rivas, Joaquin, Laiza & Luis Almaraz, Maribel Mittelsteadt (Greg), Jose Juan Rodriguez, Ramiro Rodriguez (Hannah), Christina Hargrove (Brandon), David John Melecio (Lizet), Sabrina Ortiz (Mariano), Juan Melecio Jr. (Anita), Avel Melecio, Juan Daniel Mandujano (Jackie), Joey Harbin (Christy)Tanya Hood (Bruce), Daniel Melecio, Samuel Melecio, Antonio Melecio (Courtney), Travis Caul (Stephanie), Roy Caul (Lilly), Areli Mandujano (Gabriel), Josue Melecio (Natalia), Paola Melecio; 33 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; special friend, Cho-Cho; brother, Alvara Melecio Ramirez; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Friday, November 24, 2023, at Spry Memorial Chapel.  He will be buried in Mexico.

The family would like to extend a sincere heartfelt thanks to the staff of Gentiva Hospice, Savannah, Garry, Rosa, Melanie, Whitney, and Christy for the love and care shown to our Papa Yo-Yo.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Melecio Family.

Spry Memorial Chapel assisted the family.
