Eugenia Christine Moss, age 68, gained her heavenly robe on Friday, March 15, 2024 at Huntsville Hospital Hospice Family Care.
Christine was born December 11, 1955 in Russellville, Alabama to parents Mr. Eugene and Mrs. Christine Fant Moss. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Charles Lynn; and sister, Ms. Annette Moss Malone.
Christine received her early education from Reedtown High School and received her diploma in 1974 from Russellville High School System. She continued her post-secondary education with Alabama A&M University and received her Bachelor’s (1979) and Master’s Degree (1983). While attending A&M University she became a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. where she chaired numerous committees and programs.
While employed with Headquarters, Army Contracting Command (HQ, ACC) she received numerous awards for Exceptional Performance, Letter of Appreciation, Special Act Award, Commanding General Coin, and Certificate of Recognition. Christine retired as a Procurement Analyst in December 2015.
Christine professed her life to Christ at an early age at St. Paul C.M.E. Church, Russellville, Alabama. She continued and culminated her spiritual journey with First Missionary Baptist Church, Huntsville, Alabama. She served on the Greeters Ministry, Fellowship of University Students, and others.
Christine leaves to cherish her loving memory with her sisters Carol W. Young (Cleveland), Madeline E. Hereford; nieces Christy L. Puntar (Jack), Rachel Johnson (Jay); and a host of loving nephews, cousins, classmates and dear friends who will miss her beautiful smile.
To end, our sister had a heart that was always open, ready to give and receive love but it was her strength that would give us wise words and a comforting hug. She had a connection with nature and her flower garden was her place in cultivating beauty around her, especially her Lenten roses. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
In her honor, let us continue to spread the love and joy she so freely gave. Rest in peace, our dear sister.

The memorial service for Ms. Eugenia Christine Moss will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 30, 2024 at the First Missionary Baptist Church (3509 Blue Spring Rd NW Huntsville, AL 35810) with Pastor Don Darius Butler officiating.
There will be no public viewing.
