Eugene Mack Howard
Gene passed away on 8/21/2018 at the age of 78. He was born in Muleshoe, TX and moved to Tennessee in 1977. He worked in sales for American Paper & Twine for 32 years before retiring in 2009. He was a lifelong lover of music (especially on vinyl), westerns and baseball (NY Yankees), and a beloved husband, father, and grandfather.
Gene was preceded in death by his parents Walter and Inez Howard, brothers Doug and Roy Howard, and grandchildren, Angel and Ian Howard. He is survived by his wife of 37 years Sharon Stamps Howard, children Tonya (Al) Cantu, Kevin (Christina) Howard, Sherrie (Bret) Bailey, Patrick (Stacy) Howard, Elizabeth Tidwell, Chris Tidwell, 8 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Services will be held at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home at 11am on Wednesday, 8/29/2018. There will be visitation from 4-7pm on Tuesday, 8/28/2018.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alive Hospice or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital
