Eugene Cochran, age 76, Haleyville, Ala., formerly of Phil Campbell, Ala., passed away Sunday, July 21, 2013. He was born in Hackleburg, Ala., a retired farmer, a member and deacon at Posey Mill Baptist Church.
His visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 23, 2013, at Pinkard Funeral Home, Haleyvillle, from 5-8 p.m., with his funeral on Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the chapel. Brother Andy Gasque, Bobby Cochran, Wayne Yarbrough and Brother Greg Burcham are officiating. Burial will follow at Winston Memorial Cemetery.
He is survived by his
wife, Sara Yarbrough Cochran;
children, Kirk (Karen) Cochran, Karla (Greg) Burcham and Kristi (Jay) Raney;
sisters, Martha Fuller and Helen Sartin;
brothers, Bobby Cochran and Wayne Cochran;
grandchildren, Daniel Burcham, Will Burcham, Kristopher Cochran, Kevin Cochran,
Kyle Cochran, Lexi Raney, Julia Raney and Grace Raney.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Esther Clement Cochran; brother, Donald Ray Cochran; nephew, Gregory Lee Nix; brothers-in-law, Lent Sartin, Charles Fuller and Larry McNutt.
