Funeral services for Mr. Eugene Ayers, age 76, are scheduled for 11 am, Friday, November 8, 2019 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Independence Cemetery. Mr. Ayers passed away on Monday at the Tennessee State Veterans Home in Humboldt. He was born August 12, 1943 in Perry County to the late Billie Fee Warren and Doris Marie Ayers. He was a U. S. Army Veteran, a member of First United Pentecostal Church in Lexington, and a former Kroger employee. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Carolyn Wilkins Ayers. Survivors include his half-sister, Dorothy Marshall and his brother –in-law, Philip Wilkins (Diane).
