Eugene Aday – Obituary

Eugene Aday, 73, of Iuka, Mississippi, died January 17, 2015, at his residence. He loved to fish and work on his cars, trucks, and lawnmowers. He enjoyed hauling wood, and picking blackberries, and spending time with his children and grandchildren. Visitation is scheduled for 2:30 until 9 PM on Wednesday, January 21 at Airport Mission Baptist Church. Funeral services are scheduled for 1 PM on Thursday, January 22, 2015, at Airport Mission Baptist Church, officiated by Bro. Larry Burbank. Interment will follow in Allsboro Methodist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers include Robin Aday, Greg Aday, Shane Aday, Dustin Aday, Trent Aday, Coddy Aday. Taylor Aday, John Ford, and Rob Ford will serve as honorary bearers. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. He is survived by his wife, Wilma Jean Aday of Cherokee; 9 sons – Andy Aday (Rebecca) of Iuka; Randy Aday of Cherokee; Terry Aday (Regina) of Iuka; Robin Aday of Belmont; Shane Aday of Cherokee; Trent Aday (Nicole) of Waterloo; Coddy Aday (Rebecca) of Cherokee; Greg Aday of Cherokee; and Dustin Aday of Cherokee; 2 daughters – Marley Bitner (Patrick) and Tasha Aday, both of Cherokee; 2 sisters – Margaret Gasway of Fulton and Linda Aday of Iuka; 31 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dimpy Lee and Susie Ellen Aday; one son, Tony Aday; and one brother, Clifton Aday.
