Etta Lee Nichols, age 77, of Florence, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, May 14, 2014. Visitation was Thursday, May 15, 6:00-9:00 P.M. at Spry~Williams Funeral Home, Florence. The service will be Friday, May 16, 2:00 P.M. in the funeral home chapel with Dr. David E. Gregg and Mike Montgomery officiating. Interment will be at Mt. Zion Cemetery. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Matt Wright and Lonnie Rhodes. Mrs. Nichols was a member of the Baptist faith. She was a Homemaker and Care Giver for her community and a loving wife and mother who was a wonderful example of the Proverbs 31 Woman. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam & Etta Barnes, 4 Sisters, 3 Brothers and son-in-law, J.J. Kwan. Survivors include her loving Husband of 58 Years, Leonard D. Nichols, Sr.; Children, Debra Montgomery (Mike), Crystal Wilkerson (Danny); Jackie Gregg (David), Laura Kwan and Leonard D. Nichols, Jr. (Chasity); sister, Shirley Johnson (Jerry); thirteen Grandchildren and sixteen Great Grandchildren.
