Funeral for Ethel Roberta Osborn, 93, of Courtland will be Friday, February 8, 2013, at 3 p.m. at Elliott’s Brown-Service with Brother Randy Glover officiating. Burial will be in Rock Springs Presbyterian Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Osborn died Tuesday, February 5, 2013. She was born October 22, 1919, in Lawrence County to John H. and Savannah Pruitt. She was preceded in death by three sons, Elbert Parker, Leldon Parker (Doris), Herschel Osborn and her husband, Floyd Osborn.
Survivors include six children, Wimp Parker (Jewel), Alma McDonald (Odie), Joyce Parker, Buddy Osborn (Belinda), Wynell Jetton (Ted) and Helen Osborn; two daughters-in-law, Lisa Osborn and Pearlie Parker; 40 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be grandchildren.
