Ethel Marie Rosson, age 81, of Boaz, Alabama, passed away on March 24, 2026. She was born on April 8, 1944, in Delaware to the late Ralph B. Smith and Pearl Smith.
Ethel was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Jimmy Hue Rosson; her children, Darlene M. Rosson, Kathleen A. Fowler (David), Shelly K. Rosson (Jerry), Sherri Freese (Rob); step-son, Jimmy Darryl Rosson (Ellen); her sister, Regina Beamer; and her cherished grandchildren, Amberlee M. Fowler, Ashlee N. Fowler, Brandon Rosson, Zachery Frye, Joshua Frye, Jasper Meyers, Jimmy Young, Heather Clark, Lindsey Morgan, and Dillon Brown.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, James Smith, George Smith, and Bradley Smith, Jr.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 30, 2026, from 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Adams Brown Service Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Adams Brown Service Chapel with Ricky Rosson officiating. Burial will take place at Solitude Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Rob Freese, Jimmy Darryl Rosson, Brandon Rosson, Jasper Meyers, David L. Fowler and Kevin Rosson.
