Ethel Louise Coffey, age 96, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Wednesday, June 03, 2020 at NHC Healthcare of Scott in Lawrenceburg, TN. She was a native of Guthrie, KY, retired clerk from Dollar General, and a member of College Place Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Daisy Bell Self Rust; and her husband, James Walker “Happy” Coffey.
She is survived by two sons, Denny Coffey (Brenda) of Summertown, TN and Ken Coffey (Linda) of Prairie Grove, AR; one daughter, Tonya Brown (Jerry) of Ethridge, TN; one sister, Christine Hightower of Elkton, KY; eleven grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, June 05, 2020 at Neal Funeral Home. Graveside services and interment will be conducted at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens at 10:00 AM Saturday, June 06, 2020, with Jacob Evans officiating.
