Ethel Jean Andrews Wynn of Huntsville passed away Saturday surrounded by her loving family. A native of Huntsville, she was born to C.W. and Cora Andrews. A beloved wife, mother, Mema, and friend, she loved to laugh and spend time with her family and friends. She was involved with the Monte Sano Mountaineers and Monte Sano Baptist Church. She loved to feed her family and bake her favorite desserts for them. She enjoyed playing cards and Mexican train. She loved to be around people and to be the life of the party. She was funny and quirky and liked things done her way. She had 82 wonderful years and now has eternity in heaven with those that have gone before her. She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. She will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Ora Milton Wynn and brother Elbert P. Andrews.
She is survived by her children Shirley Trevorrow (Joe) and Sherry Kirkham (Gary); six grandchildren, Charles (Michelle), Bobby (Connie), and Mark (Pam) Stinnett, and Michelle (Grant) Tate, and Kevin and Daniel Kirkham; nine great-grandchildren, Taylor, Bailey, Landon and Cody Stinnett, Justin and Jessica Davis, Jonathan Kirkham, and Parker and Hudson Tate; her boyfriend of 12 years, Tom Stinchcomb; and her seventeen-year-old cat, Misti.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville, where the family will receive friends Tuesday night 5:00 until 7:00PM. Funeral service will be held in Spry’s Chapel, Wednesday at 2:00PM, with pastor Jimmy Tidmore officiating. Interment will follow at Faith Memorial Park.
