Ethel Alene Wiginton, 96, passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at Southern Magnolia in Golden, MS. She was born in Mississippi to Quitman and Ethel Davis Strickland. She worked at Brown Shoe Company and was a member of Golden United Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be Saturday, December 17, 12 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Belmont, MS with Bro. Nathan Hodum officiating. Burial will be in Lindsey Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS will be in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by her son, David Wiginton (Barbara); grandchildren, Chris Wiginton (Joy), Nicholas Wiginton (Amanda), Samantha Cutter (David) and LeeLee Ray (Austin); eleven great-grandchildren and a daughter-in-law, Suzanne Wiginton.
She was preceded in death by her husband Elton Wiginton and her son Danny Wiginton.
Pallbearers will be Nick Wiginton, Dudley Strickland, Christopher Wiginton, Chris Wiginton and Freddie Moore.
Visitation will be Saturday, December 17, 11-12 at Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS.
