Funeral services for Mrs. Esther Lee Smallwood, age 96, will be held at 1 PM on Thursday, March 23, 2023 in the Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Jimmy McCall officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 12 PM until service time. Burial will follow in Oakhaven Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Smallwood, a retired employee of Tyson Foods, passed away on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at her home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Smallwood; and parents, Ethel and Frank Richardson.
Mrs. Smallwood is survived by a daughter, Patricia Copley (Tommy, deceased); a son, Jimmy Smallwood (Emily); four grandsons, Jason Copley (Melanie), Logan Copley (Erin), Jimmy Smallwood, Jr. (Sandra) and Bradley Smallwood; a step-granddaughter, Aspen; a great granddaughter, Brooklyn; two sisters, Nell Murry and Edie Horne. All whose lives were touched by her great love.
