Ester Louise Duncan, 86, born May 23, 1929 and completed her walk on this Earth September 2, 2015. Mrs. Ester, as so many knew her, loved God and her family fiercely. She was a member of Little Bear Creek Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband: Robert D. Duncan; sons: Delmer and Curtis Duncan; and daughter: Karen Duncan, parents: Sherman and Adah Hand; brothers: Albert and Lawrence Hand; sisters: Edna George and Mary Van Ledlow.
She is survived by her sisters: Jeraldine Seahorn, Marcene Oliver, and Margaret (Charles) Montgomery and her brother: Sidney Hand. Sons, Dennis (Rita) Duncan of Russellville; Dewayne (Mary Ann) Duncan and Doug (Cherie) Duncan of Tuscumbia. Sixteen grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren, as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Friday September 4, 2015 at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral will be 11:00 am Saturday Sept. 5, 2015 also at Morrison Funeral Home., Graveside will follow at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church, Russellville, Alabama with Bro. Phillip Duncan, Bro. Kenneth Bond and Bro. Jerry George officiating.
Pallbearers will be Robert Hunter Duncan, Colin Duncan, Matthew Duncan, Eric Thompson, Brant Pace, and Phillip Duncan.
