Ester Braswell, 94, of Huntsville, passed away peacefully at her residence on Sunday, July 26, 2026, surrounded by her loving children.
Born on November 5, 1931, in Curry, Alabama, Ester was the daughter of the late John Miller and Mary Richardson Miller. She was one of eleven children who learned the value of hard work, faith, and the importance of family.
Ester found her greatest joy in spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A faithful member of First Baptist Church of Meridianville, Ester attended regularly until her health no longer allowed her to do so. Her unwavering faith was an important part of her life and was reflected in the kindness and love she shared with others.
In addition to her parents, Ester was preceded in death by her ten siblings and two children, Mike Ray Braswell and Linda Jo Fry.
She is survived by her son, Greg Braswell; her daughter, Lisa Lowhorn; seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and many extended family members and friends who will cherish her memory.
The family will hold a Celebration of Life service at a later date and time.
